Wayzata Firm Poised for Growth with Analyst/Investor Relations Hire

WAYZATA – Jan. 28, 2020 – Inland Development Partners (IDP) recently named August Bruggeman Analyst and Investor Relations team member. He will report directly to Partner Tom Shaver.

In his new role, Bruggeman will be responsible for supporting IDP’s project underwriting of its real estate development opportunities and acquisitions, as well as creating the IDP Investor Experience Platform. Specific duties include preparation of individual project analytics and developing communication strategies to support internal and external investor relations.

“Bringing August on board enables us to focus on growth areas and assures us that the details of each new multi-family development project are being handled quickly and expertly,” says Tom Shaver, IDP Partner.

Before joining IDP, Bruggeman worked as a Production Analyst with Greystone Servicing in Minnetonka, Minnesota. There he acquired in-depth knowledge of agency lending products including Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and HUD.  Bruggeman also worked at Marcus & Millichap as Lead Financial Analyst and Associate. In these roles, Bruggeman honed his analytical and underwriting skills.

Bruggeman joins partners Kent Carlson, Tom Shaver, Steve Schwanke and Bob Cunningham, along with Director of Development Carole Mette and Team Manager Jean Giltner, who have a combined 150+ years of development experience.

IDP’s strengths in the industry are land development, asset repositioning, and site redevelopment. Their forte is managing complex agreements involving multiple entities from beginning to end; managing the planning stages, real estate processes, site and environmental challenges, financial solutions, and partnering with city and state stakeholders.

Bruggeman has a B.A. in Political Science from St. Olaf College and a Minor in Middle Eastern Studies.
